Does Kevin MacDonald want to "exterminate" Jews, or does organized Jewry want to eradicate Whites, Christians and Western civilization?

I made a resolution to not to waste time and energy on Internet squabbles with people like Lawrence Auster. Auster’s agenda is pretty clear. As I said in some previous comments on him, “ Auster’s comments, posted on his website, are first and foremost an attempt to place me beyond the realm of legitimate discourse. By titling the article ‘The idiocy of Kevin MacDonald,’ Auster is saying, “Don’t go near MacDonald—he is off limits.” Auster continues to draw lines, now trying to anathematize anyone who is remotely associated with me.

For awhile, it seemed that Auster had decided not to bother with any arguments at all. His complaints about my review of Norman Podhoretz’s Why are Jews Liberals? referred to “MacDonald-style Jew-hatred” and then had long quotes from the article. Not exactly an overwhelming argument.

Now Auster has taken to calling me an “exterminationist anti-Semite,” again with the aim of drawing boundaries for acceptable discourse and again without much of an argument:
Since Kevin MacDonald sees the Jews as a group that are genetically determined by Darwinian evolution to subvert and destroy white gentile societies wherever they encounter them, in the same way that rattlesnakes are genetically determined to sink their venomous fangs into the flesh of mammals wherever they encounter them, we must conclude that he doesn’t want Jews to exist in America and Europe. Further, as I explain here with regard to MacDonald’s recent article at Alternative Right, it is clear that he doesn’t want Jews to exist in Israel either. So MacDonald doesn’t want Jews to exist anywhere.

If anyone has a reasonable interpretation of MacDonald other than that he is an exterminationist anti-Semite, I’d like to hear it.
There is a whole lot wrong with this, starting with interpreting me as saying that “Jews as a group that are genetically determined by Darwinian evolution to subvert and destroy white gentile societies wherever they encounter them.”

I certainly do think I have shown that Jews have a powerful sense of groupness. This is apparent throughout history and can be seen today in pretty much any statement put out by organizations like the ADL. And I do think that there are conflicts of interest between Jews and non-Jews in a wide range of areas — my writing has focused on immigration policy, policy toward Israel, and the construction of culture generally. Whenever I discuss these issues I always qualify my remarks by noting that not all Jews hold the same opinions. Making a case for Jewish influence is a matter of looking at where the great mass of Jewish money and influence is being brought to bear and trying to determine if their efforts are effective. For example, in the case of immigration policy, it matters little if Auster and Stephen Steinlight oppose our anti-White immigration policy when the organized Jewish community and the vast majority of Jews (including a great number of Jews with influential positions in the media) are in favor of it. (Here’s a recent example: the ADL condemning the Arizona law that attempts to rid the state of illegal immigrants.) My argument is that Jewish influence was a critically necessary condition for the passage of the disastrous 1965 immigration law.

But this is a far cry from saying that Jews are “genetically determined by Darwinian evolution to subvert and destroy white gentile societies wherever they encounter them.” Even a casual reading of my work would show that it’s all about culture–why else write a book titled The Culture of Critique. (This is a recent academic version of my theory of culture.) Genetic determinism plays no role in my theory.

When it comes to why the organized Jewish community and most Jews have supported policies that oppose the interests of people of European descent, I implicate Jewish ethnocentrism combined with their lachrymose view of their own history among Europeans — summarized in my review of Podhoretz. MacDonald: "It really doesn’t matter if groups with little power and influence oppose the interests of White Americans. But it matters greatly if a substantial component of the elite in terms of wealth as well as political power and media influence opposes our interests and brings to economic ruin and political oblivion anyone (Jew or non-Jew) who comes to our defense."

I would echo this point, but add "Christianity/Western civilization" to "White Americans."

Auster has had his panties in a twist ever since Paul Gottfried recently outed him as a crypto-Jew trying to pass himself off as a Christian on Alternative Right.

Auster's leap from MacDonald's rational critique of subversive organized Jewry to a claim that MacDonald advocates their extermination is a typically Jewish supremacist hasbara technique designed to categorize any serious and intelligent critics as beyond the pale -- in this case, not only MacDonald, but anyone who publishes him (specifically, Richard Spencer, the publisher of Alternative Right, who is supposedly part of "the Paleocon anti-Semite complex").

Jewish supremacists like Auster believe that Jews (like himself) should be allowed to declare open season on Christians, Muslims and whites who defend themselves against Jewish attacks, but never have to hear any kind of reply. This is a corollary to the same state of mind and attitude of liberals and multi-culturalists, who picked up the characteristic from Jews to begin with. Anyone who defends themselves against their rhetoric and "authority" is extreme, racist, murderous, etc.

Auster demonstrates that any tenacious Zionists or neocons of any stripe can never be trusted to put the interests of Whites, Christians or Western civilization over the interests of the Tribe. In any conflict between the two, they'll always revert to Marxist techniques and declare their foes to be bigots motivated by bad will and a desire to exterminate a "vulnerable" minority.


Someday [in comments]: "Jews would be fools to believe any movement that includes those who imply Jews are inherently evil is not “exterminationist anti-Semitic” or likely to become so at the drop of a hat. Some writers on TOQ need to make it clear what they do not mean."

Why isn't it incumbent upon organized Jewry, given its ancestry as "Stalin's Willing Executioners," and given the fact that so many of those murderous Communist Soviet and E. European Jews emigrated to America and Palestine, and given the fact that their techniques once here and there have resembled a slow motion version of their techniques in the Bolshevik Soviet Union, "to make it clear what THEY do not mean"?

Why do Christians, whites and adherents of Western civilization have to "prove" that they mean no harm to organized Jewry, yet organized Jewry, with so much Christian blood on its hands (and a similar although thus far less murderous track record in Palestine), is the presumed moral authority which can sit in judgment and declare who is "approved" to lead or even participate in “civil society” and discourse, and who is not?

I'll answer my own question: because the game is rigged by organized Jewry and its corrupt and morally depraved collaborators.

There is some wisdom in what you say vis-à-vis Western leadership, although I disagree that the vast majority of jews are innocent victims.

It takes two to tango, and most of organized Jewry has gravitated to the absolute worst and most venal of its leadership time and again out of opportunism moreso than fear. It was that way in the early Soviet Bolshevik era, and it’s that way today.

For example, the vast majority of American Jews have no reason whatsoever to support Zionism in terms of their personal fear factor, yet they have fallen into line with the Zionists nonetheless -- despite at this point in time the overwhelming troves of evidence that Zionism is rotten to the core. Why? Because the Jewish Zionist network is a richly rewarding place to be, professionally and financially, just as early Soviet Bolshevism for Jews was.

But that’s the point, isn’t it? If they haven’t embraced Christian and Western Free Will doctrine by now (which only seems to enrage them and which they have consistently and conscientiously rejected) they never will. To this day, with the exception of handfuls of individual Jews, they are almost universally unwilling to take responsibility for their own actions and deeds. Instead, they use Western freedoms to further entrench their “victim” identity and consolidate power. And via a kind of intellectual jujitsu employing Statist Marxism, socialism, left-liberalism, neo-conservatism and dispensationalism, they’ve actually managed to pivot Western civilization into the corner and are now leveraging corrupted Westerners against it.

It’s ingenious, really, but in no way the work of a “victim.” It’s the work of a long-game aggressor. And it’s organized Jewry that demands a fight to the death whenever it attains massive power, not the other way around.

At this point, the only “enlightened” way out for Western civilization if it is somehow able to rally and gain the upper hand that I can see is extreme containment in Israel.

Stalin's Willing Executioners

...Although in the decades immediately before the Russian Revolution Jews had already made enormous advances in social and economic status, a major contribution of Slezkine’s book is to document that Communism was, indeed, “good for the Jews.” After the Revolution, there was active elimination of any remnants of the older order and their descendants. Anti-Semitism was outlawed. Jews benefited from “antibourgeois” quotas in educational institutions and other forms of discrimination against the middle class and aristocratic elements of the old regime, which could have competed with the Jews. While all other nationalities, including Jews, were allowed and encouraged to keep their ethnic identities, the revolution maintained an anti-majoritarian attitude. (Some might argue that the parallel with post ’65 Civil Rights Act America ironic!)

Beyond the issue of demonstrating that the Jews benefited from the Revolution lies the more important question of their role in implementing it. Having achieved power and elite status, did their traditional hostility to the leaders of the old regime, and to the peasantry, contribute to the peculiarly ghastly character of the early Soviet era?

On this question, Slezkine’s contribution is decisive.

Despite the important role of Jews among the Bolsheviks, most Jews were not Bolsheviks before the Revolution. However, Jews were prominent among the Bolsheviks, and once the Revolution was underway, the vast majority of Russian Jews became sympathizers and active participants.

Jews were particularly visible in the cities and as leaders in the army and in the revolutionary councils and committees. For example, there were 23 Jews among 62 Bolsheviks in the All-Russian Central Executive Committee elected at the Second Congress of Soviets in October, 1917. Jews were leaders of the movement and to a great extent they were its public face.

Their presence was particularly notable at the top levels of the Cheka and OGPU (two successive acronyms for the secret police). Here Slezkine provides statistics on Jewish overrepresentation in these organizations, especially in supervisory roles, and quotes historian Leonard Shapiro’s comment that “anyone who had the misfortune to fall into the hands of the Cheka stood a very good chance of finding himself confronted with and possibly shot by a Jewish investigator.”

During the 1930s, Slezkine reports, the secret police, now known as the NKVD, “was one of the most Jewish of all Soviet institutions”, with 42 of the 111 top officials being Jewish. At this time 12 of the 20 NKVD directorates were headed by ethnic Jews, including those in charge of State Security, Police, Labor Camps, and Resettlement (deportation).

The Gulag was headed by ethnic Jews from its beginning in 1930 until the end of 1938, a period that encompasses the worst excesses of the Great Terror.

They were, in Slezkine’s remarkable phrase, “Stalin’s willing executioners”...
