Organized Jewry, Jewish nationalism, Zionism, Judeofascism...all one in the same?

Editor's note:
The following comments were culled from Mondoweiss in response to the Philip Weiss post Jewish orgs excommunicated ‘JVP’ for heckling Bibi and refusing to swear by ‘Jewish, democratic state.’
Here is a section of the Weiss post:
There is growing consensus in the organized Jewish community, reports Stewart Ain at the NY Jewish Week, that it's ok for Jews to call for a boycott of settlement products so long as you don't target Israel itself or criticize Israel too much. The group Jewish Voice for Peace, which calls for targeted boycott, is being excommunicated, the piece explains, because it declines to endorse Zionism, which is still a religious principle within the organized American Jewish community, no dissent tolerated...
The commenter, who goes by the moniker 'eee', argued that Zionism and organized Jewry are one in the same.

The argument is interesting, because many on the Left, including Weiss, constantly declare that Zionism, (despite all the spin and P.R. otherwise, an inherently Jewish supremacist ideology) is not interchangeable with organized Jewry, and Zionism has no inherent connection to Judaism.

(The Left doesn't want to believe that organized Jewry is in any way fascist because Jews were so decisive in inventing and implementing Marxism and Communism, and the fascist character of organized Jewry reflects on the fascist character of the Left itself. Additionally, the Left doesn't want to admit to itself that many ethnic-tribal affiliations are inherently fascist, and that Christianity went a long way toward solving this problem in Western Civilization until post-Enlightenment fascist tribal factions and ideologies, including Judeofascism, Communism and colonialism, hijacked the West and decimated Christianity.) -- C.M.

(By eee) -- The wise son asks: Where did you get all of these rules and regulations?

The majority supports them, that is why JVP represents only a very small part of the Jewish community in the world.

The wise-ass son asks: What is this idolatry of yours?

Since when is stating an opinion that is widely held idolatry? Who are you to define idolatry? If most Jews believe that Zionisim is part of Judaism who are you to call it idolatry?

The simple son asks: What the hell is this?

It is just common sense. Anyone who tells you he is part of your community but also that he wants to sanction you is a liar. JVP is like Jews for Jesus. They have “Jews” or “Jewish” in the name but have nothing to do with Judaism.

And to the son that doesn’t know where to begin: You are seeing the beginning of a rift in Judaism. Previous rifts created Christianity. This current rift will create people that call themselves “Jews without Zion”. Let us wave goodbye to them as they create a new religious/national identity for themselves...

I and the 5 million Jews in Israel do not want to be associated with people that want to sanction us. Israel and its Jewish community are the future of Judaism. Good luck creating a “Judaism” that is in confrontation to the Jews in Israel...

The message Hillel sent is loud and clear. There is no difference between JVP and Jews for Jesus. The majority of Jews do not view them as Jewish organizations. Now what are you going to do? Howl at the moon I guess...

If a predominant majority of Jews believe that Jews that want to sanction Israel or abolish it are not really Jews, it will be so. Hillel showed that this is a fact. Over time, people will understand that there is no difference between JVP and Jews for Jesus...

Judaism and Zionism are for all practical purposes one and the same. It is a no brainer for Jews in Israel, where the future of Judaism lies. Most Jewish organizations in the US are Zionist. So how could this be a “talking point” the needs proof? It is an obvious fact...

Jews are a nation whose customs you call religion. The “political construct” does not own a religion. The people who are part of the “political construct” have customs that you call religion.

The picture is simple. Judaism is by and large a democratic society. You want to influence other Jews by discourse, persuasion and using the ballot box? No problem. You want to influence them by sanctions? You have lost your right to be part of the community. Bye bye...

Yes, why would Jews think they have anything to do with Jerusalem or Hebron? One really wonders what is that elusive connection...

If you want to sanction Israel and the 5 million strong diverse Jewish community there, to me you are not Jewish. If you want to take away the Jewish state from millions of Jews who want it, then to me you are not Jewish. Apparently many other Jews think like me. Just as Jews for Jesus is a contradiction that can only be solved by understanding that these people are not Jews, Jews against Israel or the Jewish state is also a contradiction that is solved by understanding that these people are not Jews...
