Calculating Jewish establishment runs away from disgraced neocon brethren; (will disgraced Zionists be next set of Jews under the bus?)

Introduction by Chris Moore:

In the following blog, leftist Jew Philip Weiss documents how NPR's Robert Siegel, (who is unquestionably a good barometer of the thinking of the Jewish American establishment) seeks to run away from the undeniable record that neoconservatism is (yet another) disastrous, self-serving Jewish intellectual movement. Siegel apparently doesn't like the fact that the person he's interviewing, Adbusters founder Kalle Lasn, has a record of "outing" the neocons as Jews.

Now that neoconservatism (with its "liberal" twin, neoliberalism, I might add) have been disgraced as the intellectual movement behind not only lying America into the disastrous Mideast wars on behalf of Israel, Empire, and State Corporatist profiteering, (i.e. fascism) but also behind the concept that "chosen" organized Jewry can do no wrong and deserves its perch at the top of so many American institutions from Wall Street to Hollywood, now that all of that has brought America low in the eyes of the world, and to its knees economically, socially, morally and spiritually, suddenly the Diaspora Jewish establishment is backing away from its brethren; suddenly it doesn't want the fact that neocons are mostly Jews to be widely known, and if it is, to distinguish neocon Jews from "our crowd."

So now the neocons are going under the bus, and even the Israeli Zionists are coming under increasing criticism.

Not that I'm complaining about either outcome, but isn't this so typical of ambitious Jewish elites and their lackeys? Isn't this what wealthy, establishment Jewry does time and again when its "noble" standing and monetary bottom line starts getting affected by the noxious actions of its brethren -- actions that it has enabled and profiteered healthily from itself, and actions it was more than happy to associate itself with during the heady days?

The Jewish Bolshevik "movers and shakers" threw the Jewish peasants under the bus when Jewry was eventually outed as a self-serving nation undermining Communism; the Jewish Zionists threw the non-Zionists under the bus when the Jewish communists were outed in Germany as an enemy within; now the wealthy Diaspora Jewish establishment is throwing the neocons under the bus, and will no doubt eventually throw the Israelis right along with other hard-core Jewish-American Zionists under the bus, as well.

As I said, I'm not complaining about this outcome, nor am I criticizing Philip Weiss here for being part of this process of throwing his brethren under the bus. Indeed, Philip Weiss was a prophet on the vanguard of this inevitability, as he has been warning his fellow liberal Jews for years that the neocons and Zionists were no good, and were dangerous for Jewry, and was imploring them not to dig themselves any deeper with this lot (to the profound detriment to his own career) far before it became de rigueur to do so.

What Weiss didn't understand is that establishment Jewry was simply being itself, simply exploiting the opportunity at hand (in this case, the neo-fascist, largely Jewish-instigated, neolib/neocon trend), and profiteering from it when the trend was in its favor.

Sure, there might have been some Jewish supremacist (Zionist) principle involved (two birds with one stone, so to speak), but at heart, greed, ambition and opportunism drives Diaspora Jewry, and now that their money, careers and opportunity are being detrimentally affected by the neocons and Zionists, well, overboard they will go.

And lest someone mistakenly believe I'm picking on Jews here, make no mistake: I honestly don't believe that those Gentiles who collaborated or acquiesced to this fascist Mideast enterprise carried out by Jewish-corrupted Washington are in any way better than the Jews, and indeed are perhaps even worse, as they sold their souls and sold out the country for a pittance, whereas at least Jewry made sure it was well paid for its treachery.

Yes, self-serving, nation within a nation Jewry is ultimately going overboard, but then again, so is any other self-serving, fascist formulation that refuses to patriotically embrace the American melting pot and pull together for the best interest -- nay, the very survival -- of the United States itself.

For opportunistic, scheming, ethnic, religious, corporatist or even socialist groupings of any stripe, the clock is truly ticking, and it isn't just the Jewish networks who are going to pay for their anti-American treachery. I predict a nationalistic, populist, American melting-pot earthquake that is going to scatter all of these insular parasites to the winds.

That's my prophecy. -- C.M.

Robert Siegel scolds Kalle Lasn

(Mondoweiss) -- by Philip Weiss --

The other day on All Things Considered, in an otherwise respectful interview, Robert Siegel scolded Kalle Lasn, the Adbusters founder and Occupy inspirer, suggesting he is anti-Semitic. It happened fast:

SIEGEL: You've been very critical of Israel and of neoconservative policies.

LASN: Yeah.

SIEGEL: Some people think you're out of bounds identifying who are Jews among prominent neoconservatives.

LASN: Yes, and some people think I'm way in bounds as well.

Here are seven Jews who have identified neoconservatism as either a Jewish movement or a movement that has a strong Jewish component:

Alan Dershowitz: (The Vanishing American Jew):
Jews have been active in gay rights, but the recent neo-conservative movement in America has also been dominated by Jews, many of whom had been leaders in the socialist movement of the past.
JJ Goldberg (Jewish Power):
Not all the neoconservatives were Jewish... Nonetheless, they became known as a Jewish group for several reasons. For one thing, most of them were Jews.... Most important, the neoconservatives proclaimed their existence throught two magazines edited and published by Jews...
Jacob Heilbrunn (They Knew They Were Right)
Neoconservatism was forged into an actual movement by [Irving] Kristol and Norman Podhoretz. Even today, the neoconservative movement is best described as an extended family based largely on the informal social networks patiently forged by these two patriarchs.... there were many other figures who contributed to its emergence, both as a movement and as a school of thought. Not all of them were Jews--a fact that has been frequently pointed out by the neoconservatives themselves to refute the canard that neoconservatism is a Jewish movement. Fair enough. Yet the movement's non-Jewish members were largely bound to the group by a shared commitment to the largest, most important Jewish cause: the survival of Israel.
Murray Friedman (deceased, former vice chair of US Civil Rights Commission):
[book title] The Neoconservative Revolution: Jewish Intellectuals and the Shaping of Public Policy....

A new generation of Jewish neocons have lined up behind the Bush Doctrine... If one argues, as I do, that Jewish conservatism has played a little-noticed role in American social and political life for much of the last hundred years, one may wonder why it has gone largely unrecognized.
Benjamin Ginsberg (professor of political science at Johns Hopkins), The Fatal Embrace:
The predominantly Jewish neocons are the chief intellectual spokesmen for all aspects of Reaganite Republicanism that the paleoconservatives find objectionable... One major factor that drew them inexorably to the right was their attachment to Israel and their growing frustration during the 1960s with a Democratic party....
Joe Klein:
You want evidence of divided loyalties? How about the “benign domino theory” that so many Jewish neoconservatives talked to me about–off the record, of course–in the runup to the Iraq war, the idea that Israel’s security could be won by taking out Saddam, which would set off a cascade of disaster for Israel’s enemies in the region?
Ari Shavit [2003]:
In the course of the past year, a new belief has emerged in the town [Washington]: the belief in war against Iraq. That ardent faith was disseminated by a small group of 25 or 30 neoconservatives, almost all of them Jewish, almost all of them intellectuals (a partial list: Richard Perle, Paul Wolfowitz, Douglas Feith, William Kristol, Eliot Abrams, Charles Krauthammer), people who are mutual friends and cultivate one another and are convinced that political ideas are a major driving force of history.
The simple explanation of Robert Siegel's statement is that it was OK to talk about the Jewishness of the neocons when they were a rump group of intellectuals at the margins of Washington. When they gained actual power, and played a crucial role in a disastrous decision (Iraq war), the subject suddenly became verboten, in part because of fears among Jews (like Siegel) of a recurrence of virulent anti-Semitism. The result has been journalistic abdication from an important story...MORE...LINK

Their greed is their undoing.

Most people would have stayed asleep if they had just flown under the radar a little better, but they have to have EVERYTHING!!!!

Now, people are waking up--slowly but surely--despite all the ways they attempt to keep us asleep, something greater is at work and we, THEIR VICTIMS, are waking up.

Now, it's easy to see their dirty little greedy murderous hands behind EVERYTHING! And once we wake up, we cannot go back to not knowing what they have done and continue to do.

I used to be afraid but I longer fear anything. The jig is up for these predators of humanity.

Chris,

You posit the existence of different divisions. Of course, the Jewish world isn't monolithic, but could you elaborate on your take on these different divisions? What do you feel is the goal of each? How do their goals parallel, intersect, and collide? How does each view the gentile world?
