Israel's new "Bolshevik" hasbara campaign to turn "every Jew" into an "agent"

Positive Views of Israel, Brought to You by Israelis
(New York Times) -- By ETHAN BRONNER --

JERUSALEM — The Israeli government, deeply worried about the country’s declining international image, began a campaign on Wednesday to turn every Israeli — and ultimately every Jew — into a traveling public relations agent.

With a Web site backed by an advertising blitz, the Information and Diaspora Affairs Ministry began issuing Hebrew-language pamphlets to passengers on Israeli airlines and offering coaching courses to groups heading abroad. The message: “Are you fed up with the way we are portrayed around the world? You can change the picture.”

The information minister, Yuli Edelstein, said in a statement that a poll he had commissioned found that 91 percent of Israelis believed that their country had a poor image and that the vast majority wanted to play a role in improving it...

"The campaign stems from a genuine fear that Israel is misrepresented, sometimes in very vicious ways,” said Shlomo Avineri, who teaches political science at Hebrew University in Jerusalem. “On this level it is understandable. But I think it is puerile. Some of the information is ridiculous, and behind it I find a Bolshevik mentality — to make every citizen an unpaid civil servant for the policy of the government. There is never any intimation that some of our problems have to do with actual policies.”...MORE...LINK

The decisive Jewish role in the formulation of Communism has been well-documented on this site, as well as Jewry's transition from "government" collectivism into Zionism -- which I believe was actually the original intent of Soviet government collectivism (Russian Communism) all along: as elaborate cover for the same Jewish supremacism that we are today seeing in Zionism. (And certainly, the Jewish supremacism documented in the early Soviet Union bears that out.)

Indeed, in addition to the forced collectivism in the "Bolshevik" reference above, Avineri has also put his finger on one of the most "Jewish" characteristics of Communism: its stubborn insistence, even in the face of all evidence otherwise, that its failures -- which then necessarily led to mass murder in order to sustain the bankrupt enterprise -- were the result not of its policies and systemic flaws, but of poor propaganda, and an inability and unwillingness of the world to understand its "goodness" and accept its inevitability.

This stubborn denial of reality, and insistence that Leftism can successfully displace Christianity as the moral authority in the West with enough faith in Marxism (which itself is totally ungrounded in any kind of sound economic or social policy), is one of the irrational "Jewish" hangovers innate in leftism to this day.

Certain Jews and leftists may point out that collectivism has worked for the Jews, so why can't it work for humanity as a whole? But Jewish collectivism hasn't "worked" in any benign sense of the term; like Bolshevism and Zionism, it has always rested upon fraud, theft, chicanery, wealth-transfer, double-dealing and murder. Yes, ethnocentric Jewry may indeed today enjoy a luxuriant lifestyle, but look at the moral fraudulence and shell-gaming theft that that lifestyle rests upon; and at what long term cost, both to itself and to the societies it has devastated?

Similarly, contemporary Judaized-Americans were for a time enjoying a luxuriant lifestyles by plundering the American estate built up over decades and centuries by America's Christian forebears, and charging the cost overruns on the national credit card (thinking they'd just stick their grand kids with the bill), but look at us today.

Incidentally, in addition to sheer moral corruption, that may be another reason there is so much support for Zionism and ethnocentric Jewry within American left-liberalism and the Democratic Party: leftist "converts" simply don't want to accept the fact that the Jewish collectivism that their entire ideology is based upon is morally bankrupt.

But then again, neither do Neocon Republicans.
