DailyKos has acted to ban commenters from linking to Mondoweiss, charging me with anti-Semitism. It is a disgraceful smear and hides DailyKos's real anxiety: it cannot deal with the issue of Palestinian human rights, any more than the Democratic Party can, and so Israel supporters are striking at me.

Their point of attack is my repeated insistence on talking about the large Jewish presence in the American establishment and the importance of Jewish money in the political process. Such an attack was inevitable, and in that sense I welcome it. For while these are delicate issues, they are important ones. I have often expressed my own discomfort with them, and yet I advance them in the discourse because as a journalist I recognize that they meet an ancient test of what is newsworthy: these issues are new, true, and important. Were they merely new and true, I would ignore these issues. But their importance has put them in my road, and I can't shy away from discussing them, and DK's smear gives me an opportunity to revisit my thinking...

I do not think that any analysis of the American government's "special relationship" with Israel can be very sharp if it fails to deal with the simple fact of Jewish donorship. It is the Jewish press that reported that Obama lost $10 million in donations during his May 19 "1967 lines" speech. It is neocon John Podhoretz who says that a "wildly disproportionate" part of the Democratic donor base is Jewish, and Podhoretz who said that Obama fears that he will lose half the money from Jews he got his first time running for the presidency. These fears drive policy, and they have for decades. Jimmy Carter was a one-term president in some measure because he alienated Jews by opposing settlements. The next one-termer, George H.W. Bush, tried to stop the illegal Israeli settlement project in 1991 and paid "dearly" for it in the 1992 campaign (as Donald Neff writes in Fallen Pillars). Bush himself has said that this stance hurt him in that election. Bill Clinton got 60 percent of his money from Jews, according to the New York Times, a real sign of Jewish arrival into the establishment, and he created what David Frum called the most "philosemitic" presidency in history (words that I think DK throws at me) and he reversed Bush's opposition to the settlement policy. Both Clinton's Supreme Court appointments were Jewish, and his Camp David negotiation team was headed by "Israel's lawyer," as he was called, Dennis Ross, and don't you know it, a lousy offer was made to the Palestinians and the Palestinians were blamed for the collapse of the talks. The lesson of Bush 1's loss was not lost on Bush 2, who installed neocons throughout his administration and did nothing to stop the disastrous colonization project. And then Barack Obama threw his friend Rashid Khalidi under the bus in the 2008 campaign, but Dennis Ross is still with us. Ater a stint as head of the Jewish People Policy Planning Institute in Jerusalem, the man whom Abraham Foxman has called an "advocate" for Israel is heading Middle East policy under Obama, and if you think that is not a signal to the Jewish community, you're thick. It is the Wall Street Journal that said that Obama's mild demurrals about the occupation have caused "Jewish donors" to "warn" him. And it is Seymour Hersh who has said that "Jewish money" is behind the campaign to push the United States into a confrontation with Iran over nukes.

We can debate the importance of the Israel lobby and the Jewish presence inside the establishment all day long. And many people who come to this site disagree with me, and they're free to speak out (unlike at DailyKos). But myself I have reluctantly come to the conclusion that the Jewish presence in the establishment-- as givers, as political actors, as talking heads-- is a huge factor in America losing its way in the Middle East, and so I feel an obligation as an American journalist to address these questions...MORE...LINK

Ah, this all brings back the events of nearly two years ago when Weiss himself banned me from commenting on Mondoweiss (see here and here) under charges of anti-Semitism.

It was a disgraceful smear that hid Weiss' real anxiety -- namely that my theory of Judeofascism was 100% accurate, and just like the indoctrinated Dems over at Daily Kos today, Weiss couldn't face the inherent fascism of the tribe with which he had chosen to associate himself any more than the Kossacks can face the fact that the Judeofascists have transmuted the Democratic Party into a party of liberal fascism.

I wonder how much further the worm will have turned in two more years? By then, Weiss will probably either be a neo-Bolshevik communist (which puts him right back in the Judeofascist-manifestation camp)...or a libertarian.

Or maybe he'll just get it over with and declare himself a Christian. Oh, but than organized Jewry would be able to blame his "anti-Semitism" on Christian doctrine, and totally disregard the fact that it's actually because so many of them are psychopathic Judeofascists who worship a psychopathic God by the name of Yahweh.

...Jewish media outlets in Israel and around the world are already aware of the deeply worrying fact that Breivik was inspired by right-wing ideologies associated with Israel and Zionism.

The JTA, which describes itself as “The Global News Service of the Jewish People”, was quick to admit that numerous online postings, including Breivik’s, adhere to a “mishmash of anti-modern principles” that call for "the deportation of all Muslims from Europe as well as from the West Bank and the Gaza Strip". Whether we like it or not, this “mishmash” of global Islamophobia and Israeli expansionism is the true face of contemporary Zionism and Israeli ideology.

And yet, there is a further central question that no one in the media has addressed yet. How is it that Melanie Phillips is getting away with openly promoting vile Islamophobia in our midst? How is it that she and other Zionists prevail, exactly where the English Defence League and the Britisn National Party fail? Why is Melanie Phillips a celebrity while the BNP’s Nick Griffin is regarded as a vile racist, and a social outcast?

Similarly, I find myself wondering what on earth the board of “progressive” Guardian editors had in mind when they nominated the Zionist, neocon, pro-war and openly Islamohopbic Harry’s Place as one of their favourite political blogs in 2005 – roughly the same time that the very same Harry’s Place blog won the “Annual Islamophobia Awards 2006”, within the UK section of the Islamic Human Rights Commission's Annual Islamophobia Awards?

I believe that the answer is devastating: within our so-called, liberal, democratic and allegedly “tolerant” discourse, it is only right-wing Jews who are entitled and allowed to spread xenophobia and hatred.

This is hardly surprising, because unlike contemporary Westerners, who seem to be more than confused by their colonial heritage and notions such as nationalism, racism, expansionism, biological determinism, religion and narcissism, Israel and Zionism actually openly celebrate all of these afflictions. It is anything but surprising, then, to see Israeli flags and Jewish symbols popping up in many far right gatherings in the UK and in other European countries, because Israel, it seems, makes racism look kosher.

The shocking ideological resemblance of the thoughts and ideals of the fearsome mass murderer Breivik and mainstream Zionist advocates, such Melanie Phillips, Daniel Pipes, David Horowitz and Harry’s Place, should surely be a bright red alert for any sensible humanist. Why is Judeofascism allowed, encouraged and celebrated in the mainstream, supposedly “tolerant” and “liberal” discourse, while other fascists are rejected? Because just as organized Jewry transmuted the universal aspects of Communism to primarily serve organized Jewry’s particularistic agenda and interests, it has transmuted liberalism into liberal fascism to serve organized Jewry’s particularistic interests.

They’re mostly of the flavor of this guy had some rational grievances and was seriously ballsy to do what he did as opposed to any kind of formal approval, but there is an unquestionable air of…admiration?…respect?…sympathy?…in the flavor of the articles and comments.

The first and second articles above were written by Califronia State Long Beach Psychology professor Kevin McDonald, who is the proprietor of Occidental Observer, and also wrote a third article (The Political Ideas of Anders Behring Breivik) that has led to silly, censorious demands by Los Angeles Urban Policy Roundtable President Earl Ofari Hutchinson that "California State University Board of Trustees President Herbert L. Carter and the entire Board of Trustees condemn" MacDonald.

As someone who also recognizes multiculturalism is not what it purports to be, which is a kind of neutral “why can’t we all get along” ethno-ecumenicalism, but is rather a dangerous, murderous racket that seeks to divide rather than unite, that seeks tribalism and conflict instead of melting pot assimilation into Western values, I too have sympathy for opposition to multiculturalism. And yet, I consider Breivik a stupid psycho and, like many of the White advocates over at Occidental Observer, ultimately ineffective in the battle against the Trojan horse for authoritarian leftism that multiculturalism represents.

Indeed, ethnically conscious Whites (including the foolish and irrational Breiviks of the world) have more problems than they know in dealing with the multiculturalism-centered forces converging against them, for the following reasons:

1) Both state-capitalism and corporatist-capitalism, which have synthesized into liberal fascism (mostly controlled by Zionist Jewry and ambitious, greedy, cutthroat Whites) are on the side of massive immigration to fill their respective government and corporatist coffers by filling out their "markets" to their maximum potential. They have put multiculturalists in charge of arranging and greasing the skids for this open borders agenda, and masking its impact on the West. (Stupid psycho Breivik thus only went after the left half of the larger liberal fascist problem, and did so in a stupid and immoral way.)

2) Some Whites think they can follow the Zionist model to preserve their tribe, and hence become Zionist-Jewry lite Judeophiles (as apparently did stupid psycho Breivik, a staunch supporter of Zionism); hence they promote one wing of the very organized Jewish Zionist elite that is secretly hell bent on cutting their throats.

3) Jewish Zionists, and their White liberal fascist and Judeo-Christian Zionist paramours are also hell bent on bombing Islamic nations into oblivion, which drives huge numbers of Muslim refugees north, (stupid psycho Breivik approvingly cites all manner of neocon doctrine and its warlike, Muslim-bombing agenda), even as they claim anguish over the fact that these Muslim refugees are settting up shop in the West. This is literally insane, and Breivik's naked insanity is right in line with the insane policies of Zionists and liberal fascists.

4) Because post-WWWII Whites have not cultivated and protected what I would describe as the Greco-Christian, Western civilization model, identity and geist, and have instead succumbed to hyper-materialism, Jewish Zionist-like, shallow nationalist conceit and particularism (e.g. the neocon pied-pipers flattery of the U.S. as “the indispensable nation“), and money-worship, they are today more than willing to sell out the traditional peoples of their own civilization to Zionist Jewry and the liberal fascist agenda to serve their own narrow, short-sighted economic interests. Additonally this post-Christian, neo-Western, hyper-materialist model has made them unwilling to have large families or unable to afford families at all, or increasingly hostile to their own families and peoples as a pain in the ass “expense” (stupid psycho Breivik didn’t address how right-wing White narcissism, greed and fascism is as corrosive as cynical, left-wing, statist-racket greed revolving around the Marxist swindle, and equally hostile to the concept of Western civilization).

Hence, because tribal White nationalists don’t recognize the seeds of their own demise are in the very (narrow) world view to which they subscribe, they are never going to be able to defeat all of these forces, which have unquestionably been engineered by far more clever and Machiavellian minds; indeed, unlike organized Jewry’s expansive Machiavellian tribalism, White nationalist porcupine-like tribalism works against its own interests.

Western civilization and its White beneficiaries (and that’s what we are, not some “chosen” race in the Jewish mold as some Whites like to fancy themselves) are only going to be saved country by country working together towards a larger civilizational identity and consciousness, or not at all.

I’m not saying tribal racialist Whites following the Zionist model or one like it will disappear altogether, but they will cease to exist as a civilization and instead exist as warped, scheming, hyper-materialistic, money-grubbing parasites on whatever God-forsaken, perpetually-warring, multicultural tribal amalgamation prevails, and at the pleasure and mercy of the ruling multicultural-managing elites (including more than a few representatives of racist Zionist Jewry and its culture that cultivates murderous grudges and hatred of the goyim in general, and the White goyim in particular).

On the other hand, if Whites have become too narcissistic, self-absorbed and greedy to appreciate the fact that they are the beneficiaries of the most evolved, sublime and morally, ethically and technologically advanced civilization in the history of man with the Greco-Christian Western tradition, and fail as its caretakers, then maybe they deserve their fate.

Judeo-Christian Zionism’s once-feigned Judeophilia has become fact. Breivik embraced neocon doctrine, other than the fact that he acknowledges large percentages of Jews are nation-wreckers. For this reason, he probably wants most Jews out, but if that was his primary imperative, he would not have embraced neocon doctrine.

Maybe Christian Zionists once harbored secret desires to get the Jews out, but once Jewry penetrated so deeply into the American hierarchy, they threw in the towel and basically concluded, “If you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em.”

Maybe Breivik fantasized that Judeo-Christian Zionist Whites would eventually turn on the Jews after dealing with the Muslims, but the Zionist disease has already spread too deeply into the Judeo-Christian Zionist marrow for this to ever happen.

For all their posing, these people are no longer even Christians, and neither, obviously, is Breivik.

I believe he is where neocon Judeo-Christian Zionism leads — repression and insanity, and too gutless to go after the real malefactors way down underneath the piles, and deep down knowing it.

Breivik should have become anti-Jewish. It might have saved his sanity and prevented all that bloodshed.

Jewish-owned establishment-left: Democratic Party apparatus Daily Kos bans anti-Zionist writer on trumped up pretext for turning over rocks

They finally did it. The folks at Daily Kos have sunk so low it’s downright embarrassing. You see, I published a post here and at Dkos a month ago or so saying that Kos and all political bloggers should maintain higher standards of disclosure in their blogs. They should inform their readers of any financial or other type of material relationship (including political advertising) with political campaigns. Man, were the Kossites hoppin’ mad. There was a tempest in a teapot that was even picked up by the right blog world to posit the ridiculous notion that my treatment signaled the demise of DKos as a political force.

Then I wrote a post questioning how Armando dealt with his own potential conflicts of interest in both his professional life as a lawyer and political blogger. This too made the Kossites hoppin’ mad. Scores of them were clamoring for me to be put in what religious Jews call “herem” or excommunicated. And that appears to be what’s happened. One of the supposed crimes I’d committed was to use Armando’s real first name in my diary title (“Armando, Political Blogging & Conflict of Interest”). You see, it’s supposedly against the rules to use a Dkos’ member’s real name in any comment, diary or story. The problem with this rule is that the very same day both Chris Bowers of MyDD (co-founded by Kos’ partner, Jerome Armstrong) and Armando had referred to me in print at DKos with my ENTIRE NAME, Richard Silverstein. So if that’s the rule I violated which caused my banishment, it’s being applied very selectively. And applied to favor the inner circle and ban the dissidents (like me). It used to be that you’d be banned in Boston if you crossed the line of decency. Now, I’ve been banned at Dkos for having the chutzpah to question the lackadaisical ethical notions of the Kos elite...

Doubtless Armando and Kos would’ve banned the great Spinoza himself if he’d deigned to write a diary entry claiming that Moses did not come down from Sinai carrying the Democratic Party platform inscribed on those two little tablets...MORE...LINK

I learned last night from an Israeli online journal that two days before the Utoeya Island massacre, the leader of the ruling Norwegian Labour Party’s youth wing, the Workers Youth League (AUF), Eskil Pedersen, gave an interview to Dagbladet, Norway's second largest tabloid newspaper, in which he unveiled what he thinks of Israel.

In the course of the interview, Pedersen stated that he “believes the time has come for more drastic measures against Israel, and [that he] wants the foreign minister to impose an economic boycott against the country”.

Pederson went on to say, “The peace process goes nowhere, and though the whole world expect Israel to comply, they do not. We in Labour Youth will have a unilateral economic embargo of Israel from the Norwegian side.”

The Workers’ Youth League has been devoted promoters of the boycott Israel campaign, According to Dagbladet, “The AUF has long been a supporter of an international boycott of Israel, but the decision at the last congress demands that Norway impose a unilateral economic embargo on the country and it must be stricter than before.”

“I acknowledge that this is a drastic measure,” stated Pedersen,“but I think it gives a clear indication that, quite simply, we are tired of Israel's behaviour.”

On 23 July, we also learned that mass-murderer Anders Behring Breivik was openly enthusiastic about Israel. According to a variety of internet outlets, Behring Breivik was a regular poster on several Norwegian internet sites, notably the blog Document.no, which is run by Hans Rustad, a former left-wing journalist. Hans Rustad is Jewish, extremely pro-Zionist, and warns against “Islamization”, violence and other social problems he assumes to be connected with Muslim immigration.

The observant among us are becoming increasingly aware of a growing trend of pro-war Zionist internet journals and blogs, such as the UK’s neo-conservative and infamously Islamophobic Harry’s Place, that ostensibly like to give the impression of “rallying for the preservation of Western culture” and of “standing up for democratic values”. For the most obvious of reasons, these sites are almost exclusively focused on “the problem of Islam” and the Muslim migrants’ “troubled and reactionary” communities and politics, while simultaneously, relentlessly and forcefully propounding a propagandistic Zionist agenda. Interestingly enough, other immigrants are routinely depicted on these blog pages as being “harmless”, or as “positive contributors to society” – you won’t find Hans Rustad or Harry Place criticizing the Jewish lobbies, the likes of Lord Levy or the Russian oligarchs’ disastrous impact on “Western culture” and “democratic values” any time soon...MORE...LINK

For Jewish voters in disgraced Jewish congressman Weiner's district, special election replacement is all about Israel first

Weiner in a special election on Sept. 13, is a Modern Orthodox Jew who keeps kosher, observes the Sabbath and has been to Israel at least eight times. So it comes as a surprise that, at this early stage of the short campaign, New York’s Ninth Congressional District finds itself talking about an unlikely subject — whether Mr. Weprin, who is unabashedly pro-Israel, is the best pro-Israel advocate.

Just as a May special election in a conservative district of western New York turned into an unexpected referendum on the Republican Party’s proposals about Medicare, the coming special election in a heavily Jewish district of Brooklyn and Queens is, at least for that district, emerging as a potential referendum on President Obama’s proposals about the Middle East.

“It will be a one-upsmanship on who is more pro-Israel,” said Chris Malone, an associate professor of political science at Pace University.

On Monday, former Mayor Edward I. Koch, a Democrat, endorsed the Republican candidate in the race, Bob Turner, a retired cable television executive, at a press conference at which he stood next to an Israeli flag. The Norway massacre has touched off a nasty war of words on the Israeli Internet over the meaning of the event and its implications for Israel. And I do mean nasty: Judging by the comments sections on the main Hebrew websites, the main questions under debate seem to be whether Norwegians deserve any sympathy from Israelis given the country’s pro-Palestinian policies, whether the killer deserves any sympathy given his self-declared intention of fighting Islamic extremism and, perhaps ironically, whether calling attention to this debate is in itself an anti-Israel or anti-Semitic act.

The debate seems to be taking place almost entirely on Hebrew websites. There’s a bit of bile popping up on the English-language Jerusalem Post site as well (for example, there are a handful of choice comments of a now-they’ll-know-what-it-feels-like variety following this Post news article reporting on Israel’s official offer of sympathy and aid). In Hebrew, though, no holds are barred. I’ve translated some of the back-and-forth from the Ynet and Maariv websites below, to give you taste.

The debate exploded aboveground on Saturday in an opinion essay at Ynet (in Hebrew only) by Ziv Lenchner, a left-leaning Tel Aviv artist and one of Ynet’s large, bipartisan stable of columnists. It’s called “Dancing the Hora on Norwegian Blood.” He argues that the comment sections on news websites are a fair barometer of public sentiment (a questionable premise) and that the overwhelming response is schadenfreude, pleasure at Norway’s pain. As I’ll show below, that judgment seems pretty accurate....

His article has drawn hundreds of responses—more than any of the articles he complains about. They fall into four basic categories in roughly equal proportions: 1.) Hurray, the Norwegians had it coming; 2.) What happened is horrible but maybe now they’ll understand what we’re up against; 3.) What happened is horrible and the celebrations here are appalling; 4.) This article is a bunch of lies, Ziv Lenchner invented this whole schadenfreude thing because he’s a lying leftist who wants to destroy Israel.

It’s worth noting that at some point late on Saturday several readers found links to Norwegian news sites showing that some kids at the campground where the shooting took place had been brandishing signs a day or two earlier calling for a boycott of Israel. These links were posted (here and here) and the mood quickly got darker—sympathy for the shooting victims dropped fast.

The background to this, as Ynet reported in a news article, is that Norwegian foreign minister Jonas Gahr Store had visited the campsite on Wednesday, two days before the shootings, as he does every year (he was a camper there as a kid) and addressed the group. He was asked from the audience about Palestinian statehood, and he said Norway was looking forward to the Palestinians’ U.N. bid, but he wouldn’t recognize a Palestinian state before that. He was also asked about boycotting Israel. He said it was a bad idea and would make the conflict worse rather than help bring peace. At some point during the day, some of the campers held up the signs that appear in the photos. Israeli readers seem to have concluded that the pictures show the camp program was anti-Israel and therefore fair game...MORE...LINK

Details on the culprit behind yesterday's massacre in Norway, which saw car bombings in Oslo and a mass shooting attack on the island of Utoya that caused the deaths of at least 91 people, have begun to emerge. While it is still too early for a complete portrait of the killer, Anders Behring Breivik, there are enough details to begin to piece together what's behind the attack.

Although initial media reports, spurred on by the tweets of former State Department adviser on violent extremism Will McCants, linked the attacks to Islamist extremists, it was in fact an anti-Muslim zealot who committed the murders. An examination of Breivik's views, and his support for far-right European political movements, makes it clear that only by interrogating the nexus of Islamophobia and right-wing Zionism can one understand the political beliefs behind the terrorist attack.

Breivik is apparently an avid fan of U.S.-based anti-Muslim activists such as Pamela Geller, Robert Spencer and Daniel Pipes, and has repeatedly professed his ardent support for Israel. Breivik's political ideology is illuminated by looking at comments he posted to the right-wing site document.no, which author and journalist Doug Sanders put up.

Breivik's admiration for the likes of Daniel Pipes is also telling, and should serve as a warning that, while it would be extremely unfair and wrong to link Pipes in any way to the massacre in Norway, Breivik's views are not so far off from some establishment neoconservative voices in the U.S. For instance, both Pipes and Breivik share a concern with Muslim demographics in Europe. In 1990, Pipes wrote in the National Review that "Western European societies are unprepared for the massive immigration of brown-skinned peoples cooking strange foods and maintaining different standards of hygiene...All immigrants bring exotic customs and attitudes, but Muslim customs are more troublesome than most."

Pipes was appointed by the Bush administration to the U.S. Institute of Peace, and sits on the same board than none other than the Obama administration's point man on the Middle East, Dennis Ross.

Pipes' and Breivik's concern about Muslim and Arab demographics also recall the remarks of Harvard Fellow Martin Kramer, who infamously told the Herzliya Conference in Israel last year that the West should "stop providing pro-natal subsidies for Palestinians with refugee status...Israel's present sanctions on Gaza have a political aim, undermine the Hamas regime, but they also break Gaza's runaway population growth and there is some evidence that they have."

The last person we need to hear from on the state of the antiwar movement is surely Todd Gitlin, the has-been "New" Left leader now a college professor of something-or-other. After all, it was none other than Gitlin, in the run up to the invasion of Iraq – and the biggest antiwar demonstrations since his own heyday – who took to the pages of Mother Jones magazine and criticized the antiwar movement for not "rebuking" Saddam Hussein. He was appalled at the signs at antiwar rallies calling for "No Sanctions" and "No Bombing." Sure, the sanctions were "a humanitarian disaster for the country’s civilians," wrote Gitlin, but –echoing the claims made by Washington – he averred that the Iraqi government "bears some responsibility for that disaster." This was nonsensical back then, and it is even more so now that we know there never were any "weapons of mass destruction," as the US government claimed, and therefore no justification for the sanctions.

And what, pray tell, would an "antiwar" movement that refused to oppose bombing amount to, exactly? What universe is Gitlin living in? The same universe he’s living in today – one in which a former antiwar "leader" has turned into a cheerleader for "liberal" imperialism of the sort practiced by his hero, Barack Obama. This is clear from the content of his latest screed, a tract purporting to explain why the antiwar movement is in the doldrums...

Gitlin lists all the reasons the antiwar movement might be losing fuel – a volunteer army, the "unpleasantness" of the Taliban and al-Qaeda, the economic downturn – except the primary one: a Democrat is in the White House. Not just any Democrat, mind you, but one elected with the enthusiastic support of the party’s "progressive" base, whose inauguration was hailed even by the far-left Workers World Party (WWP) as "historic."

I mention Workers World because Gitlin has been pursuing a vendetta against them since the Bush era, when they led some of the biggest antiwar demonstrations in this country. These were the "left-wing sectarians" he attacked in his Mother Jones piece – and yet he and the Workers Worlders have much more in common than either is capable of imagining. Gitlin hailed Obama’s election triumph — as did Workers World newspaper: "The election victory of Barack Obama will go down in history as a triumphant step forward in the struggle against racism and national oppression in the U.S." WWP honcho Larry Holmes exulted in the "elation" and "feeling of liberation" evoked by Obama’s victory: "The feeling on the streets of cities large and small across the U.S. on election night was that now, anything is possible, and it is."

Both the "left-wing sectarians" and the oh-so-reasonable "moderate" Gitlin wound up promoting the same story line: Obama kicks ass, new era begins!

After a year of Obama-ism, while Gitlin was over his "sorely needed moments of exulting and exhaling," and somewhat disappointed on a few minor points, he was still largely satisfied with his hero’s performance. No mention was made, in this piece for the "Progressive Book Club," of the President’s steady escalation of the twin wars in Afghanistan and Pakistan, which were well underway.

Now he pops up in Salon, the online repository of limousine liberalism, full of unsolicited advice, basically blaming conditions outside anyone’s control for the complete self-dissolution of the former "antiwar" movement. As have others, I also once read 1984 as purely an allegory to Stalinism and Communism, (and to a lesser extent, Nazism) but upon closer inspection, one will find that Orwell explicitly states “Big Brother” and “the Party” are post-Communist formulations that regard themselves as far more effective and sophisticated totalitarians than the Communists. Anti-religion leftists argue that religion itself is the problem, and intractable religious conflict proves it. This is echoed by biological atheists and racial determinists, who say that ethno-bloodlines determine all long term survival and alliances, and Jewry's behavior, longevity, and contemporary success prove it.

Bronfman ($1,050,000) and Michael Steinhardt ($850,000) who co-founded the Birthright Israel program that brings Jewish young people to Israel for a dose of Jewish patriotism. Haim Saban, who is a pro-Israel fanatic but usually supports left-wing causes in the Diaspora, donated $10,000. I’m shocked that a liberal like Saban would contribute to an organization that is so prominent in Republican circles...

I believe it’s to create an authoritarian, militaristic police state domestically (itself largely controlled by Jewry through its influence over/within government) to ensure Diaspora Jewish “security,” and of course enrich profiteering state-capitalist Jews (e.g. Michael Chertoff and his porno airport x-ray scanners).

No matter where it exists, Jewry uses its own paranoia and influence over government and media to guard its insularity and cohesiveness, and drive the general environment of paranoia, fear and conflict both internationally and domestically. If there is little to be fearful about, it will create a threat out of whole cloth.

The documents, which have been combined into one PDF with addresses redacted, offer a comprehensive list of grants, accounting for virtually all of FDD’s funding from 2001 to 2004. They reveal that the Abramson Family Foundation, headed by founder and CEO of U.S. Healthcare Leonard Abramson, offered the largest portion of FDD’s startup funding with a $222,523 grant in 2001. Abramson continued to generously fund FDD with an additional $600,000 in contributions from 2002 to 2004.

Canadians Edgar M. and Charles Bronfman, heirs to the Seagram liquor company fortune, contributed $1,050,000 to FDD between 2001 and 2004. Edgar M. Bronfman served as president of the World Jewish Congress from 1979 to 2007. Charles Bronfman, along with fellow FDD donor Michael Steinhardt cofounded Taglit Birthright which offers free trips to Israel for young Jewish adults. Steinhardt is a hedge fund mogul who contributed $850,000 to FDD from 2001 to 2004.

Other notable donors included: Home Depot cofounder Bernard Marcus who contributed $600,000 between 2001 and 2003; mortgage backed securities pioneer Lewis Ranieri contributed $350,000 between 2002 and 2004; and Ameriquest owner, and Bush administration ambassador to the Netherlands from 2006 to 2008, Roland Arnall contributed $1,802,000 between 2003 and 2004.

Other notable, but less generous, donors included: media mogul and Democratic Party donor Haim Saban, a surprising donor considering FDD’s Republican bent and Clifford May’s former role as an RNC spokesperson; The Israel Project director Jennifer Mizrahi; and Dalck Feith, father of former Under Secretary of Defense Douglas Feith...

The body of Rebecca Nalepa, 32, was discovered on Wednesday morning at the historic seaside mansion owned by Medicis Pharmaceutical Corp chief executive Jonah Shacknai in Coronado, “an upscale island beach resort connected to San Diego by a long bridge,” Reuters said. Medicis is based in Scottsdale, AZ.

San Diego CBS affiliate KFMB said police found Nalepa nude, hanging from a balcony, her hands and feet bound. KFMB reported that Adam Shacknai, the executive’s brother, had discovered the body and called 911.

A 2000 profile in the Jewish News of Greater Phoenix described Shacknai as believing “his own success in business means he has responsibility toward those who have had fewer opportunities to achieve the same level of success.”

Shacknai told the paper he developed his sense of social responsibility while growing up in Manhattan. “There was a strong Jewish tradition in my household,” said Shacknai, who told the paper his parents were “early Zionist settlers in Palestine.”

The CEO said he “certainly wasn’t born with a silver spoon in my mouth. By my count (which is still rising) 120 of these individuals are Jewish. No other ethnic or social group (such as the Gays) can be identified as supplying more than a handful.

Occidental Observer readers will be interested in my methodology. A number of these bundlers, like Chicago’s Penny Pritzker (“$100,000- $200,000”) or Hollywood’s Jeffrey Katzenberg (“$500,000+”) are very well-known. And a large number have obviously Jewish names (is it really necessary to spend much time, on, for instance “$100,000-$200,000” category bundler Israel Roizman of Lafayette Hill Pennsylvania?).

No doubt one or two of these Jewish-surnamed people will turn out to have inherited or converted to Christianity. In the context of supporting Obama, this may be less significant to evaluating Jewish influence than in other situations. But far more important, there are a considerable number of names not obviously Jewish which upon investigation turn out to be, in fact, held by Jews.

For example Mark Gilbert of Boca Raton ($500,000+) has been discussed by Mondoweiss for his demanding Zionism. And Marc Stanley of Dallas ($100,000-$200,000) is Chairman of the National Jewish Democratic Council and wrote Why Jews Overwhelmingly Support Obama for the Huffington Post back on March 25 2009. Judeofascists tighten noose on free speech in Israel with anti-boycott law

This article is against the law. To be more precise: It includes a call for boycotting the products of West Bank settlements, a call that will be illegal in Israel as soon as legislation just approved by the Knesset is published in the official gazette and takes effect. That’s normally a matter of a couple of days, perhaps a week.

The Prohibition on Instituting a Boycott Act was submitted by Zeev Elkin—a West Bank settler and Likud politician who chairs the ruling coalition in Israel’s parliament. On Monday night, the Knesset passed the Boycott Act on a straight party-line vote, with the 47 members of the coalition and a far-right opposition party voting in favor, and the 38 members of center and left-wing opposition parties voting against.

Under the law, publicly calling for an “economic, academic or cultural” boycott of “the State of Israel, one of its institutions or an area under its control” is a “civil tort.” That is, publicly organizing or even supporting a boycott is grounds for the boycott’s target to file a civil suit, and for a court to award punitive damages even if the plaintiff doesn’t prove actual financial harm. Promoting a boycott isn’t a criminal act, but it’s definitely an illegal one, and the Knesset has made civil lawsuits the method of punishment. The phrase in the law referring to “an area under [Israel’s] control” is a very thinly-veiled reference to the West Bank. The phrase is there to outlaw boycotts of Israeli settlements in occupied territory. The legislation bans promoting a boycott of a specific settlement product—say, wine from ex-terrorist Menachem Livni’s vineyard near Hebron—or of everything produced in settlement farms and industry. Radical Anti-capitalism – The Jew as Communist

Muller writes that it is ‘among the remarkable facts of modern European history that Jews were identified by others not only with capitalism, but with the most extreme form of anti-capitalism, namely Communism’ (p. 133). This fact would seem rather less remarkable if viewed through the lens of Kevin MacDonald’s theory of Judaism as a group evolutionary strategy – where Judaism emerged historically as a strategy to promote the economic welfare and reproductive success of Jews as a genetically distinct population. In Culture of Critique MacDonald examines a range of twentieth-century intellectual movements that had a decisive Jewish involvement, including the radical Left, and concludes that they share a common tacit agenda in promoting the group evolutionary interests of Jews – often at the expense of non-Jewish competitor groups. Radical Jews typically had a strong Jewish identity, continued to marry endogamously, and saw their actions as benefiting Jews as a group, at least up until the 1960s when the radical left became associated with anti-Zionism. Accordingly, political radicalism can be accurately regarded as a Jewish intellectual and political movement that is, in reality, a post-Enlightenment manifestation of Judaism as a group evolutionary strategy.

This certainly applied to Marxism, as historian Arnold Toynbee identified back in the 1930s:

In the USSR, the vast majority of Jews supported the communist regime, and indeed, the Jewish community was a pillar of support for the USSR throughout its history, particular in the period up to the end of WWII (see, for example, Yuri Slezkine’s The Jewish Century). The Jewish community also was staunchly supportive of Communist regimes throughout Eastern Europe after WWII (e.g., in Poland; see here, p. ff60). In the West, many Jewish communists continued to identify as Jews, and sympathy with communism was an entirely mainstream component of the support of the radical left that typified the Jewish community from the 1920s through the 1950s...

On July 11, Israel announced it was not interested in having the United Nations become involved as a mediator in its maritime border issues with Lebanon.

But when it comes to recruiting other countries to assist in the enforcement of its naval blockade of Gaza, or having international airlines deny entry to passengers destined to the occupied territories from flying, Israel is keen to have other countries help.

In 2010, Israel faced the worst kind of media exposure when its military raided the Mavi Marmara, shooting dead nine activists and wounding 40 others, evoking global condemnation and a beginning a tectonic shift in its relations with Turkey.

Rather than risking direct confrontation with activists taking part the recent Freedom Flotilla II, or the ''Flytilla'' of activists who attempted to fly into Tel Aviv's Ben Gurion airport, Israel instead chose another strategy that has proven quite effective...

Under the watchful eye of the Greek coastguard, when the US and Canadian boats tried to sail, they were both commandeered by coast guard personnel who brought the captured vessels back to port. The captain of the US vessel was jailed for three days, before eventually being released.

Activists with the US boat claimed that Israel had threatened economic sanctions if Greece did not cooperate in preventing the flotilla from leaving Greek ports.

Khalid Tuhraani, an American-Palestinian activist whose ship was stuck in the port of Corfu, told Al Jazeera: ''Many of the Arab countries have, like Greece now, become hostages of the political will of the United States and Israel.

"We chose Greece because this country has a history of support for the Palestinian struggle for freedom,'' he said. "Unfortunately we did not expect the Greek government to just roll over and die. But the Middle East Quartet issued a statement against our flotilla, so I think the pressure on the Greek government just might have been too enormous for it to bear."

Israeli Prime Minister Benyamin Netanyahu publicly acknowledged Greek Prime Minister Georgios Papandreou's cooperation in efforts to stop the flotilla...

For the Greek government's role in carrying out Israel's wishes of never having the flotilla set sail, the most obvious point of leverage is also economic.

The Greek economy is expected to shrink 3.7 per cent this year, following a decline of 4.5 per cent in 2010, and two per cent in 2009, while unemployment has shot up to over 16 per cent. Citizens who have held on to their jobs have lost much of their pensions, had their salaries slashed and face yet more job cuts in the years to come as Greece slims down its public sector due to its imposition of internationally mandated spending cuts amid its economic crisis.

Debt-ridden Greece is currently negotiating a second economic rescue package, on top of the $158 billion it was granted a year ago. However, these loans depend on harsh "austerity measures" and an overhaul of Greece's economy, designed to bolster the country in the long-term, but which will most certainly worsen citizens' financial pain in the short-term.

Greece is in a state of economic desperation and chaos, and enraged protests of hundreds of thousands battled riot police on the streets of Athens while the flotilla was being kept in port by the Greek coast guard. For Israel to exert economic pressure on Greece at this time would obviously prove fruitful in having Greece carry out its wishes against the activists.

Jerusalem approves construction of museum on Muslim burial ground, angering Islamic Waqf

After countless delays and disagreements, the Jerusalem District Building and Planning Committee on Tuesday approved the construction of a tolerance museum near Independence Park in the center of the capital.

The initiative, proposed by Wiesenthal Center, stirred up a storm among Islamic organizations due to the size of the museum and the plan to place it on an ancient Muslim cemetery.

The zoning plan for the museum was approved back in 2002 and determined that construction permits will be subject to the district committee's approval.

In 2005, Islamic organizations protested the plan to build the museum on an ancient Muslim cemetery and petitioned the High Court of Justice to issue an injunction.

Following the construction moratorium, head of the Islamic Movement's northern branch Sheikh Raed Salah held a press conference in which he denounced the plan, calling it "a big controversy for the Israeli establishment.

"What tolerance are you talking about? Why do you lie and distort? You are committing a historic and religious crime against all the humane values that all sensible persons hold," Salah said at the time...MORE...LINK
